Binance Identity Verification Failed Your ID already used for existing Account (Problem and Solutions)

Last week a friend came to me to talk about his interest in cryptocurrency and his frustration because he couldn't get verified for a new account as he forgot the first account he created a few years ago. I was thinking maybe I could help so I spend some time trying to fix this problem.

Why does Binance verification keep failing?

There are other issues like the uploaded document is not clear but it's no big deal. For this post, it's this particular verification failure because you already have your a verified account.

The verification keeps stating "failed" saying the ID is already in use. I believed I could solve this problem if he remember the phone number he used to register but he doesn't use that number anymore and also forgot the number. So I search on Google and forums for the solution and there are many people having the same issue. 

Solutions for Binance Verification Failed

Log in to your previous account

This is the most possible solution as long as you remember the email or phone number you used to create the account there will be hope to get back the account. But if you are still searching for this issue it's possible that you don't even remember creating an account or forgot all the info you used before.

So there are fewer solutions that are unlikely that you will create another verified account.

Contact Binance's Customer Service (updated)

Contact customer service and tell them about the problem. They will guide you step-by-step to solve this problem and request you to record a video of yourself holding the ID card and speak the statement they have written. 

This is another possible way to solve this problem if you cannot get into your previous account.

Try a different Verification Document

If you already used your ID try to verify through your Driver's License or Passport. The possibility is still very low as many people say they still couldn't get verified. I found a few people who say they could get verified but it's no proof of whether they did it or just say it.

Use your trusted person's ID to create the account

It's not a wise choice but we've come to this already. It is not convenient to use another person's identity for this kind of thing. Try it only if you find no other choice to create your own account.

There are many good Binance alternatives 

If you tried every possible solution and still couldn't get verified why not forget about it and use other platforms? There are some good alternatives that you can create your verified account besides Binance. It is not the only one you can try the other and maybe you could enjoy a better experience.
